USYS Europe & ProSoc Academy: JUNIOR ACADEMY PROGRAM Philosophy (U7)
● U7 program follows a developmental strategy and plays Funino. Players will have more interaction, more games, goals, and touches on the ball.
o U7 (G-Youth) play three-on-three (or two-on-two).
● Developmental means equal playing time with coaching adjustments to help players improve.
● Team placement will be assessed on a player’s SKILL level and DOB.
● UEFA Licensed, English speaking, Olympic Developmental coaches, or former professional players.
● Exposure to train with diversity of coaches.
● Combination of German & US Soccer Federation Training philosophy.
● 2 x 60min U7 training sessions/week and monthly games within the federation or friendlies.
● 2 x Player evaluation (Fall & Spring).
● No training from Nov 18-25. (Thanksgiving) and 23 Dec - 3 Jan 24 (Christmas)
● Indoor Season included (Training session 6omin & tournaments).
● 5 x USYS Europe internal tournaments
● No games or training sessions on major US & Germany Holidays. (Except for the Chief Rod Memorial Tournament scheduled annually on President’s Day weekend)
o Ex. Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, MLK, Spring Break, Memorial Day; Oct 3rd, May 1st, Easter Monday
